Dr. Stephany Bennett is a board-certified physician and a registered nutritionist. In 2012, she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, where she completed the MD program at the Center for Research on Reproduction and Women’s Health. She continued her studies on nutrition research at the University of Pittsburgh.
For the last five years, Dr. Bennett has been an educator in the field of women’s nutrition and pregnancy diet. She is using her clinical research background to teach nutrition (whether for students or clients) with science-backed principles. Her goal is to give dietary advice based on evidence rather than trendy misconceptions. But she is also a believer that scientific knowledge is continually evolving, which is why specialists need to learn and adapt their practices.
In 2019, Dr. Bennett was a contributor at John Muir Health, a not-for-profit integrated system in the San Francisco Bay Area. This was an incredible opportunity to work with multiple outpatient registered dietitians and broaden the concept of a “healthy diet for pregnant women” by working with people from different ethnic and social backgrounds.
